Baabar Azam Father Remembered Old Days: The International Cricket Council recently announced the ICC Award. Pakistan captain Babar Azam was awarded the ODI of the Year 2022 as well as the Cricketer of the Year award. Babar was successful in winning this award for the second consecutive year. Through his tremendous performance, he has made the cricket fans of the whole world crazy about him. However, his journey to become a cricketer was not that easy. There was a time when there was nothing to eat in Babar’s house. His father has said this while remembering his difficult days. Babar’s father said that the situation was such that if I had eaten, his son would have had to starve.

After receiving the ICC award, a video of Babar Azam and his father is going viral, in which his father tells about his poor days. During this, Babar Azam also remembers his difficult days. After this, tears start flowing from Babar’s eyes.
According to the father, there used to be food for only one person at home. If I had eaten, Babar Azam would have had to starve. Father further said, I had skin allergy due to sunlight since 10 years. Because of that he used to play inside the ground, I used to sit outside in the sun. We used to have money for food for one person. Papa says to me that you have eaten. I say yes son I have eaten. We both lied to each other.
Babar’s performance in 2022
In the year 2022, Babar Azam’s bat went well. Last year he played 9 ODIs in which he scored 679 runs. During this, he scored 3 centuries and 5 half-centuries. Last year, Babar also performed brilliantly in Tests. In the year 2022, he played 9 Tests and managed to score 1184 runs. Even in T20 International, his bat scored a lot of runs. Last year, Babar Azam scored 735 runs in 31 T20 International matches. Meanwhile, he scored one century and five half-centuries in T20.
